Self Help and Support Groups

National Awareness Day.

It is an opportunity to showcase and celebrate the valuable and indispensable work that Self Help and Support Groups conduct for the well being of the community. During the week 6 – 12 September (Awareness week) we will be promoting the activities of all SHOUT Members and the value of self help and support groups in the Community.

Weston Creek Community Centre Hall

We will also launch the 2010 edition of the

ACT Directory of Self Help, Support Groups and Community Services

copies available free on the day.

22 groups have registered to display & provide information and someone to talk to.

A great information resource for Community support workers,

social workers, health workers and carers.
